Sandra (Sandy) Pepicelli is a nationally recognized K–12 leader with deep expertise in Multi-Tiered Systems of Support (MTSS), Special Education, behavior systems, social-emotional learning (SEL), and districtwide transformation efforts. With a career spanning classroom practice, district leadership, and large-scale professional development, Sandy brings a rare blend of strategic vision and practical, on-the-ground implementation experience.
Prior to joining RethinkEd, Sandy served as a Pupil Personnel Services Director and Director of Special Education, where she led comprehensive initiatives focused on behavior intervention frameworks, mental health supports, compliance and service delivery, and educator capacity building. Her work centered on aligning Tier 1–3 systems across academics, behavior, and wellness—helping districts move from fragmented supports to cohesive, sustainable models that improve outcomes for both students and staff.
In her current role at RethinkEd, Sandy partners with district and state leaders nationwide to design and operationalize Whole Child + Whole Educator systems that reduce implementation gaps, improve consistency across schools, and address educator burnout. She is known for translating complex frameworks into clear, actionable strategies and for helping leaders see where systems break down—and how to fix them.
