Live Virtual Event

Kindergarten readiness is often measured in letters and numbers, but being ready to learn takes social, emotional, and behavioral skills too.

When Pre-K students haven’t learned how to navigate emotions, transition between activities, or take turns with peers, challenging behavior can show up in the classroom.

In this webinar, we’ll explore how early childhood teams can strengthen these foundational areas and better prepare young learners for what comes next. You’ll leave knowing how to:

  • Build wellness and social-emotional skills into early childhood learning

  • Support skill development differently for Pre-K (ages 3–4) and TK (ages 4–5)

  • Recognize what challenging behavior may be communicating and proactive strategies to respond

  • Create consistency in how educators, support staff, and families reinforce these skills
